myotan said: Once you get this you have to say five things you like about yourself, publicly, then send this to ten of your favorite followers

Well I guess I should do this since I have plenty of new followers, and I would like to get them to know more about me.

1.) I enjoy being a student. It’s hard work, but I love learning new things. I am really going to miss my university life when I graduate this semester…

2.) I just enjoy being busy overall! I define busy as either working hard on things or going out with friends. Doing these things help keep me happy and preoccupied on the moment I am in.

3.) I love having a really awesome boyfriend. I am super mushy, I know. He has helped me out so much when it comes to my art career. He always makes me happy whenever I am sad. He is someone I want to spend every single day of my life with.

4.) For years I have struggled with my autism. I have had people bully me for it. Since I have been more open about my autism, I have helped out others with autism to love themselves for who they are. Self love is something I have struggled with for a long time, and I do not want anybody feeling bad about themselves.

5.) I love being a nerd. I love learning new things. I love playing video games. I couldn’t be happier either way. Everyone should like what they like.

I tag whoever wishes to do this! Waahaha!

spooky-pens I’m sorry but I tried to reblog your content but it kept looking like a broken link :/  Tumblr sucks sometimes.

Yes, I do agree with your words as well.  There is the fat dad/hot wife trope in sitcoms.  I shared this in my illustration class last year about cliches and tropes in stories when we had to write a paper on Family Guy.  I’m not the BIGGEST fan of Family Guy, but it was a fun project!

There is a lot of pressure for being thin.  I agree it has the ability to hurt everyone but I do see women being hurt more from this beauty standard.

Thanks again guys, for all of your support ;w;

Just received a message that someone said that “If women can be “fluffy” they are beautiful, but it’s a double standard for men.”

I made this comic about personal feelings about body image. I was inspired by the idea of cats having different body types and how cute that would look if I brought…

It’s not a double standard - that comes from the person viewing the image.

I love the ‘fluffy’ comic, and it could be a boycat or a girlcat in the images, it wouldn’t matter.  A very thin person who finds it impossible to gain weight could realistically be expected to wish they had more ‘fluff’, it makes no difference if they are male or female!

Aaaah, thanks for your words, Shazz ;o;  You are so sweet ;w;

Just received a message that someone said that “If women can be “fluffy” they are beautiful, but it’s a double standard for men.”

I made this comic about personal feelings about body image.  I was inspired by the idea of cats having different body types and how cute that would look if I brought that idea into anthropomorphic light.  I wanted to write this comic since there is a lot of pressure on women’s beauty standards.  I wanted to make people happy with this comic.

I agree there is pressure on men as well!  There have been cases of men having eating disorders, dealing with weight gain, etc.  I could go all out.

I think as a woman, I wrote “Fluffy” from my own experiences.  I still want to make sure that everyone is beautiful in their own way : Male, female, and every gender identity in between.  Always be happy with your body no matter what.
